I am new to Navy Federal (I’m not a young person so I have a ton of experience with banks) and I am definitely not pleased. I have a car loan through them and trying to set up auto pay. There’s only one branch near me and that’s a 30 minute drive. I specifically went in and had them set up the auto pay so that there was no mixup and it was good to go. My experience with NFCU has always been a positive one. The staff I have dealt with are all positive, knowledgeable and very willing to help.
The customer service at this branch is terrible. Every single time I go here it takes so long. Cheyenne at the front is impossible to work with. She gave me a hard time just depositing a check and couldn’t figure out how to do it. I’ve even waited over 45 minutes to be helped before and ended up leaving instead. They need more staff and to train better.
I was so confused by the many low ratings. I have been a customer for several years. I have visited the bank in person dozens of time and was always treated extrememely well. I've taken out a checking account, a savings account, a credit card, a debit card, a car loan, refinanced two car loans, and took out a mortgage to buy a home.
