I have a problem with the dock-to-dock feature on my boat’s chart plotter, and I spent many hours thinking it was something I was doing. I contacted Navionics support, they did a poor job, received the typical boilerplate responses. I sent videos and waited a week for an answer. Jennifer finally told me that Dock-to-dock Autorouting does not work for the east coast, and they may fix it in the future. Quirky. Broke their own contract. Product no longer works and they want me to repurchase it. Support numbers seem non-existent.
I used a trial version of Navionics while on vacation in an EXTREMELY complicated area of Canada that contained hidden rock hazards and very VERY intricate routes. The Navionics maps, routes, and warning markings were extraordinarily accurate and I would NOT have been able to navigate the waterways without the program!! In my experience the data included on the maps (hazards, depths, etc.) were amazingly correct!!! Thank you, Navionics, for an incredibly good marine navigation tool!!! J. Tulla
After trying to update the charts on my card tech support reformatted my card and completely erased my card and the charts. When tech support realized what they did they told me I never activated my chart card so they could not help me further. The following day I called back and spoke with customer service who escalated the situation and decided to issue me a new card for me to update. It took some time but Navionics finally resolved my issue.
