Why is the main gate closed.
One of the worst bases yet
It's a small base but has some nice things it offers, like an amazing beach! They have a great thrift shop with anything from household items, kids toys and uniforms. Well worth the visit.
Beautiful location. Tons of amazing amenities for active duty, reserve or retirees. Everything from a golf course beach access, different activities that you can do through MWR, a big swimming pool with a slide, Navy lodging right on the beach. Every time you’re on a base you can always tell a lot of the individuals are very respectful.
