Mark and the amazing ground staff made our flight such an amazing experience. They all have incredible local knowledge and are so friendly and welcoming. We booked the hour long Daintree and reef experience and were able to see so much. We had incredible views of Mossman Gorge and the reef and were able to spot loads of animals including sharks, turtles, dugongs, manta rays and crocodiles. Overall, it was an incredible experience with wonderful staff.
We had the opportunity on our recent trip to Port Douglas to take the 30-minute flight out over the reef. What a fabulous way to see the reef. Such a different experience to heading out in the boat (which we did the next day). It really put what we experienced on the boat trip into perspective. The helicopter was much more comfortable than I expected and the visibility was amazing from every seat. Some people call it a once in a lifetime thing but man I wish I could do it everyday! The reef flight was amazing and I would definitely recommend to bring your wallet and do the 45 minute one.
From Greg and Deb ,we thoroughly enjoyed our flight today . All the staff from booking at the Sheraton hotel to ground staff assisting us onto the aircraft we're fabulous . Thanx to Mark our pilot for a very informative commentary , we also enjoyed the light banter aswell . The view of the reef , Mossman & Port Douglas from the air is spectacular and well worth it . We booked a Cruise on the Quicksilver V from Port Douglas to Agincourt Reef return and had a fabulous day. The staff were all amazing and the Semi Submersible Submarine tour of the Surrounding reef was amazing with a huge variety of coral and fish galore including a couple of smaller sharks. We were relaxing after lunch on board and got speaking to the Chap that organised the Helicopter flights.
