I think Naturwood is great! I have purchased many items over the years. Their salespeople are very knowledgeable about how the products are made and the specific materials. I have a leather Flexsteel reclining sofa that is super comfortable, I have an adorable wine rack, and 20 years ago I bought my son's bedroom furniture and he still uses it today. I cannot say enough good things about them. I love that they are a local family owned business. I know I will go back again. Probably for a mattress, it's about time.
I purchased a $600 chair (on sale), made by Flexsteel, which is presumably one of this store's premier brands. When the chair was delivered I noticed a small hole in the fabric, approx 3/4" in diameter, in the part of the chair where the arm and seat join. I called Naturwood and asked for a replacement, since the chair was new when delivered and had what appeared to be an obvious manufacturing defect. We were solid a leather arm chair and ottoman as leather. The surface quickly peeled off and the fabric wore through within a few years. We attempted to resolve the issue with the company without success. We learned that the material was not leather but "bonded leather"--plastic with a little bit of ground up leather on the surface. We purchased a dining room table and 6 chairs from Naturwood and will never go back there! The salesman sold us a "Protection 1st" policy that he assured us covered everything that could go wrong with it over a 5 year period, including scratches. If never used, you would get your money back after 5 years. He said they would repair or replace for ANY REASON if necessary.
