Such a relaxing morning spent here
I had known about the bathhouses for some time but from the smallish shop fronts I imagined a small pokey area of hot and cold pools with not much ambience. Wow was I wrong! Well thought out spaces, inside and outside quiet calm, red light therapy, cold plunge, steam room both infrared and steam saunas, honestly I’m very disappointed in myself thatI didn’t try this place out sooner. I went alone but would also be nice for a spa day with a partner or friend I plan to make this a regular treat day for myself. You should go!
Disappointed. Small, too many people, not the ambience I was hoping to experience. Change rooms were small, locker wouldn't open & had to ask one staff memeber to come and open. Couldn't use the steam room, as it was so hot you couldn't even step on the floor. Two young girls kept talking in the InfraRed room and so was unable to switch off. Quite Zone ?? Booked an 90 mins session and left after 50 mins. Very disappointed - wont be back.
Its was a startinling reminder of never trust the pictures. Upon arrival and as you enter what appers to calm and tranquil arena, you soon learn its as busy, as townhall train station, the not so quite bellows of fellow tranquilians, the grunts followed by the the murmur Having been issued with a towel of rubbish quality, and ripped after my first dry down. After pointed this out to the staff, only to be followed by " oh did you need a new towel". Much to my enjoyment of simply replying No thank you this just suits me fine. ... read more
