San Francisco - Alignment Health Plan. My hearing aid provider canceled his contract with Nations Hearing, wise decision. This left me looking for a Nations Hearing contracted provider. Extremely difficult to find one. Several I called stated that I could not get the hearing aids I got from my heath plan in 2024 through Nations. As a provider, I do not recommend Nations Hearing. They mark up their hearing aid pricing and then give the patient a 'benefit' which means the hearing aids come out the same price you could get them privately (without Nations). The employees and supervisors are rude and unprofessional. They lie and manipulate both the patient and the office staff in order to make a sale. They do this to the extent that patients are convinced they can't access their 'benefit' without Nations; I've had patients pay at least $1000.00 more ... read more
• FloridaBlue Members, and Network Providers, face obstacles at every step of contact points with NationsHearing. FloridaBlue and the State of Florida need to audit NationsHearing practices and operating standards to assure they function to the level they have been contracted to perform. Internal Operating and communication Systems appear to have flaws or broke and policy and procedures lacking to provide seamless support to members.
Horrible customer service. Difficult to understand customer service agents. Rude and divisive responses from the agents I spoke with. I was given wrong information and inaccurate information. Will never use this benefit through Allina Aetna Medicare Advantage again, it is beyond awful.
As a provider, very difficult to get anything done in a timely manor. Poor customer service. Way to much time on the phone correcting issues.
