Go on a Saturday as the guided tour operates. Ours started at 12.30pm and lasted for sometime. However, the time went very quickly as our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Worth every penny of my national trust membership!
Food is terrible. Only one person serving people in the cafe while the rest stand around and gossip. Site need approving. Overall a very bad experience.
