National Trust - Lyveden is a wonderful place, it is a fair walk from car park to Lyveden building. It is a historical building, on the way to the building it will take a fair distance to get there. It has a free car parking, including disabled blue badge parking, also it has a cafe indoor and outdoor with a sun deck chair.
The walks up to and around the remains of the building are very pleasant but it was a shame you could not actually go inside due to safety concerns. The cafe building is very nice and has such a comfortable olde worlde feel.
Have to give it 5 starts for places to rest. I have walking issues but could rest often and so enjoyed my visit
