My wife and I have been renting cars from National for a number of years and I wouldn't consider renting from anyone else. The process of picking up the car is very easy, your choice of cars available, and a quick check out make it the best of the car rental companies.

Great rental company. Did not have to wait in any long lines, was able to choose my own car in my category, and the car was clean !! National will be my go to car rental agency from now on!!!

Love National! Super friendly staff and efficient service. My car was short on gas this time, but that's the first time in 10 years that I can remember. I should have looked before I left.

Reserved a large van for family coming for Christmas. Vehicle was ready on the date we requested, it was clean, return was easy and efficient and the person at the rental desk was very friendly and helpful. The van served our purposes very well. I have been an Emerald Isle member for over 25 years and National has never let me down.

Rented @National PHX from Oct25-Nov1. Had booked an 'E' car, they were out of that class. Service was rapid & no documentation. The gentleman said he was giving us a complimentary upgrade due to the fact they had nothing else.......Great! returned the car on Nov 1. Checked in & headed to the airport, at which time I noted an extra $97 for the upgrade. Only after I called the agent over and he checked w/supervisor did they remove the charge. I am a National Car Rental Emerald Executive member and it is by far the best way to rent a car! No lines to wait in, you simply arrive at the National lot pick out a car from the designated area and drive. The facility at Phoenix airport is about a 10 minute drive via shuttle but it's a very easy process. Dropping the car off was even easier! They emailed me a receipt and didn't have to wait. Great service and very clean cars. Much better selection than Enterprise Rent a Car. The option to choose your own car was a nice touch giving my many options to choose from.

It was a very pleasant positive experience. As a first-timer, I am very impressed with how quickly the paperwork was processed, got into the car without any delay with a very broad range of car selection to choose from. The brand new F150 truck sore out for my easy picking and delightful treat. The return process was hassle-free. The whole experience is over the top and will avail their top notch services again in my future travels.

The employees at Phoenix airport have significant room for improvement. I made my reservation for this car far in advance. When I arrived at the airport, there was a long line of people waiting for cars. NONE were in the lot. We had to wait for 4 employees to go run and get cars and come back. When the 4 showed up, you took what was available. There was no attempt to try to provide what people had asked for. It was a cluster. It took entirely too long for all of this to occur.
