Myself, along with a large majority of people on my flight who had rental cars booked through National, were left stranded after our flight was delayed by a couple of hours. When we finally arrived, we were told that National had given away our reserved vehicles because of the delay and that they had no vehicles available for us. What’s the point of making a reservation if your vehicle can simply be given away before you even arrive?

I’m extremely disappointed with how my rental reservation was handled. I had a confirmed reservation with National for my trip to Fort McMurray from Tuesday through Friday. My flight was delayed, and when I arrived at the rental counter on Tuesday, I was told that because my plane was late, my reserved vehicle had been given away and National had no vehicle available for me. Reserved rental with Enterprise ,mysterious they could not find it.so I booked best rate on Expedia, went to pick up car agent does not recognize Expedia pricing. Needed car paided up ,2 days later still no receipt. Twice renting at Fort mcmurray airport. First and last time
