My experience with National Car Rental was extremely disappointing from start to finish. When I arrived to pick up my rental vehicle, the gas tank was only half full. I immediately turned around and informed the staff so they could document it. They assured me they added a note to the account. However, when I received my final invoice, I was incorrectly charged for not returning the vehicle with a full tank — even though I returned it with more than half a tank, exactly as I received it.
