My experience with National Car Rental was extremely disappointing from start to finish. When I arrived to pick up my rental vehicle, the gas tank was only half full. I immediately turned around and informed the staff so they could document it. They assured me they added a note to the account. Excellent customer service. Extremely fast pick up process.
This is the second time I have made a reservation to pick up a vehicle at this location, only to arrive and find no staff on site. A sign indicates they are only present for incoming flights, which makes scheduled pickups unreliable at best. I am from Sault Ste. Marie and was relying on this rental to leave the city for a business trip.
