I flew into Wisconsin exhausted, bone-tired from twelve hours on the road, and what greeted me at the rental counter felt like a bad punchline. Ten feet of snow outside, ice glazing the lot, and they hand me a Mitsubishi Mirage — a toy car in a landscape that demands teeth and steel. EAU (Chippewa) is a very small airport. The staff at the National counter were definitely "big city" professional, friendly, and efficient!
