Do not rent from this location. The staff is very helpful but the location is habitually understaffed and has an inadequate supply of vehicles. On 3 separate occasions over the past year, I have had a confirmed reservation, but no vehicles are available when I arrive. The normal response is “We told corporate to shut off reservations because we are over booked”. This location is not able to keep up with the increase passenger volume at the airport.
Everything went very well.
I rented a vehicle from National. I had an easy pickup with no issues and they were accommodating to my requests. During my rental time they texted me and let me know I could respond to the text with any questions about the rental while I had it and also to remind me of my drop off time. Drop off was simple and pleasant as well. Staff was amazing and helpful. I even called to ask a few questions over the weekend and their customer service representative was so sweet and helpful.
Please adjust the drop off point for rental returns at CAK. Seems that the cars were being returned but not pulled ahead by staff. The drop off point was at end of parking area whereas if the cars already returned could have been pulled forward, it would have cut down on the walk distance with 5 pieces of luggage .
The service is amazing. The pickup was seamless and drop off was just as easy and convenient.
