I love being in the Emerald Club. Just pick a car and go. I returned a little short on gas and they marked it as full. Thank You so much National. For sure the best rental car company.

First time using National. Emerald member. Was given luxury to upgrade to Executive when booked Aisle car, only to have Engine warning for lack of coolant in vehicle. Had to trade out vehicle at 11:00pm at Miami International Airport. Compensation for my troubles was appreciated, but lucky vehicle issues happened during off-hours, albeit at 11:00pm.

Easiest way to rent a car. I wouldn't use anyone else to get my car. Selection and Service was outstanding!

I really enjoy National's "Emerald Aisle" option that lets you bypass the counter and just pick up any of the cars available. The price when you book this option is similar to a midsized car but you get a lot of choices when you arrive so its quite a good value. If your intent is to book an economy car, then perhaps this option is not for you. But if you are looking at midsize or better, the efficiency of this option is great with very competitive rates. HORRIBLE!!! I am a member of the emerald club and made a reservation for 4 days for a total of $180. I got in the car and proceeded to the gate. The attendant took a long time and I ask her if there was a problem and if she had my reservation. She said "yes" she had it and no problem. She printed out my paperwork and stuck it in a folder and handed it to me. I proceeded to check to my hotel and happened to look at the paperwork when I got to hotel. She had charged me $169+ A DAY for a total of over $700 for the 4 days..I was... read more

I don't travel and rent cars as frequently as I used to, so it is important to me that the rental and return process are as efficient as possible. I was impressed at the Ft. Lauderdale airport how slick and efficient it was to get in the car and out of the airport. Now, if they only had counters at each of the terminals! That airport is getting pretty big. The team at National was great to work with and made the entire experience very pleasant.
