Things I like as a high-tier loyalty member: Just walking to the car I want, make sure our luggage fits, changing cars if necessary, and then just proceeding to the exit. I also love parking the car upon returning it and then just walking to my flight. No waiting for the busy clerk. National is in all the airports I travel to, prices are usually competitive (but that's getting worse...), and the webiste is functional and easy enough. I'd be willing to try a plug-in hybrid if they get any.

From my experience of renting from multiple companies, National always has the best customer service, the cars are newer and they offer high end models. They also offer one of the best rewards programs.
