What a horror! I was helping a house-bound friend apply for a HELOC and after filling out the online app, it said come into a branch and get an application. Went to get it and was told to have her call and apply over the phone. Tried that and the bank employee is from Eastern Europe and was difficult to understand and things had to be repeated because she didn't understand what we said. I love this bank. They've been my only bank for decades now, taking excellent care of my business accounts and personal accounts. I also work internationally and they always find solutions for money transfers and other unusual transactions. The tellers are so nice and helpful, I always choose to go in even if I only need cash. And they not only let me bring my dog in, they greet her, too.
I have constant issues with the banks ATM machines. Most recently I tried to make a cash deposit and the atm took the money and cancelled my transaction keeping my money! Now its a nightmare to get anyone to call me back. Think long and hard before opening an account with them.
This bank has greater management
I am a local resident and this bank is hands down THE WORST! I setup a checking account so I could cash my bosses checks for free...First off, my bank card wasn't ordered until I called to find out, then a small withdrawal I made didn't post to my account properly and overdrew the acct. All banks are a RIP off but National takes the first place lead. I'm going back to a prepaid card with Absolutely the same freedom. Think prepaid these days!
