They are trash
My mom passed away last December and she had left my siblings and I as beneficiaries of her TFSAs. It is June 20th and I am still waiting for National Bank to disperse these to us. Scotiabank was able to do this in less than a month. Why will they not release these funds? These TFSAs should not have needed probate as we were listed as beneficiaries. Its in a busy spot,.traffic can be a hassle
Yogesh at this branch was very informative and helpful.
This is truly the worst bank! Not only is the customer service terrible, but on top of that, when you finally make the time to go there in person, they change the hours at the last minute. It said online that they closed at 6 p.m., but their new hours, which have been in effect for a few days now, is now 4 p.m. There’s no information online that shows this.
