Extremely Horrible service from Branch manager
Horrible service... Here is what happened. I deposited a $40,000 certified cheque that was accepted and verified at the branch. Your own staff then issued me another certified cheque from my account, which I used to purchase a vehicle — meaning the funds were already validated through your system. While I am currently outside the country, my access to funds was suddenly restricted, leaving me stranded abroad and vulnerable to serious issues during my travels. J'ai tenté d'ouvrir un compte à cette succursale. La dame avec qui j'avais rdv m'a posé les questions les plus bizarres jamais adressées par aucune institution financière. Ma carte bancaire ne serait activée que quelque temps après avoir déposé un certain montant. Elle a ensuite évoqué un bug informatique et qu'on allait me rappeler le lendemain, ce qu'ils n'ont jamais fait.. Evidemment, je suis allée dans une autre banque sans problème. Il semble que la BN soit très sélective dans le choix de ses nouveaux clients.
