Driving all the way from Ottawa to deposit a cheque thinking they will close at 5pm on wednesdays. Came to the bank 40 minutes before close and got told they can’t help me on depositing my cheque because all the tellers are closed and employees went home. Why are you open till 5pm then? Might as well close at 4pm
My accounts were moved here recently because National Bank (NBC) took over my Bank. My original Bank was extremely easy to deal with. The NBC is a nightmare. Calls take over 30 minutes to get answered and if you can actually understand the person answering they usually aren't very helpful. It is almost impossible to move money to another Financial Institution. You must have a chequing account (at your cost) to be able to move money between your accounts even if the chequing account is not involved, used or needed. Trying to ... read more
Lousy service, low tech , won't issue deposit slip , they charge for it ..... surprise they font charge us for speaking to us..... no one is pleasant at this establishment.. .. Do not make any effort at making clients feel worthy of dealing with Nationsl Bank Absolutely will change Financial Institute in the near Future
