Excercise extreme caution! Took a car loan out 6 years ago with National Bank, paid it off fully 5 years ago, went to sell my car recently and the bank still had a zero-balance lien registered against my car, screwing up the sale! After an hour on hold with customer service, they finally answered the phone and told me they could rush the lien removal but it would still take 10 business days! I will never deal with this bank again.
