I am writing this review to warn the community about my experience with National Bank – Hamilton Downtown. This has been, without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any bank. Before opening an account with National Bank—especially at the downtown Hamilton location—think not once, not twice, but a hundred times. Place is a joke ,, I’m still waiting for over two weeks for them to contact me about my late mother’s account even though I have given them a copy of estate certificate that has my name on it and means I’m in charge of her account but they don’t care not one bit . It’s not even a large amount of money,, don’t use national bank use a bank that makes enough money they will release your money to your family when you die !
Not a great bank. Sorry. Also can never ever get anyone by phone. Worse bank i know. The company makes lots of harrassing calss to my mother on daily basis
I hate this bank. Have a car loan through them (dealers choice not mine) attempting to make accelerated payments and somehow my loan keeps getting higher, even after the amount owing shows it is going down, some how now it's a if I never made a payment. Extremely unhappy with this bank and will never deal with them again. Losing sleep over this
