Nathan is a master of his craft and does top notch work. He helped assess what needed repair on both mine and my partners 100+ year old violins and helped get them back in pristine playing order, while preserving the beautiful age they show. He also straightened and rehaired my bow. His services do come at a premium, but his skill and knowledge is worth every penny. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of playing on a Nate Slobodkin cello for a week not long ago. What a dream! The cello was so beautiful, the tone was spectacular - each day I couldn’t wait to play it. Can’t wait to come back and perhaps play it again. Nate is the consummate luthier. After playing cello for almost 50 years, I’d trust Nate with any instrument, hands down. A true craftsman.
