My daughter who does not drive has been using nassau transit to get to her job for the last 2 years. The service has been great for the first year or so. Since it was anounced that a new company is taking over the quality has gone way down. Missed and late pickups Can't get in contact with anybody. It was said that when the new company takes over everything will be the same. Today Oct 1st , my daughter gets a call from JTA at 7:20 am that they don't service this area any more. I cannot say enough good things about this service. Reliable, responsible, friendly and compassionate. I have no idea what I would have done without after my injury.
