Me and my husband lived in these military houses and just let me say it’s was the worst experience I’ve ever had to experience. No matter how many times I would sweep or mop, I would still wake up the next day or morning to thousands of little bugs all over the walls and don’t even get me started on the cockroaches. I stayed with my son-n-law and daughter at their on base housing in NAS for a week or so. It was horrible! There was mold growing on the walls, around the vents, hundreds of cockroaches and pill bugs also had invaded their house. They keep the house clean so evidently there is an issue with an infestation of them in the walls. The housing is old and in need of many repairs and updates. Don't let the pictures fool you. Prices are good compared to those of similar housing outside of base. Maintenance is prompt usually don’t right the first time. Electrical bills are quite high during the summer time and there is no way to avoid this as you have to use the electrical company contracted by them (at least for the period of time I stayed there; 2014-2016). Floor plans are nice; with 1 or 2 stories. 1-3 rooms. Lots of space, storage and garage as well.
