I purchased the Deluxe Roman Arc Cypress stand and after just two years of use, the base started cracking making it completely unsafe to use. My wife and I weigh a combined 280lbs and this stand was always maintained with their recommended refinishing and sanding instructions. We also live where conditions are ideal and there is no cold weather or snow, and the stand is marketed on their site as an outdoor stand. We have been purchasing their quality products for 20 years and they never cease to produce great stuff. Just got a double wide hammock, it's beautiful and strong and looks GREAT in our back yard! Thanks Deandre the master weaver!!

My husband ordered a hammock and a stand for me for Mother’s Day this year. I got the hammock, after 6 weeks maybe, but the stand just came today. The box was all broken up and the stand was all scratched up. I’m so disappointed. Also, when it was ordered there wasn’t a notice that shipping was delayed. I do love my hammock though.

I must preface this review by saying that we both love the Outer Banks and appreciate high quality products from small local companies. I very easily could have ordered a hammock from Home Depot, Wayfair, or any number of big box stores. It would have been cheaper, not hand-crafted in America and made from subpar quality materials. Choosing to purchase a Nags Head Hammock was by far the right decision. I placed my order on May 20, and my wait time was 3-4 weeks. Worst customer service ever!!! I love the products, but am so frustrated with the service! I understand that the whole Covid thing has made life difficult for everyone, but this is way beyond short staff problems. I have called numerous times only to get the call back later message- all day long. If I call 30 min before closing, I get the we are closed message. I bought a Nags Head Hammock less than 2 years ago. Loved the color and we took many a summer nap in our hammock. Recently, one of the main support poles, that spaces out the ropes, snapped in two. That has rendered the hammock useless. Customer support's only reply was that it was outside the warranty. I'm left with the conclusion that Nags Head Hammocks are disposable.
