Working with NACA has been pretty great so far. We really get to see a clear look into our financial ability, and not feel discouraged by the many confusing factors it takes to buy a home these days. They really break things down in an educational way, which I find appealing. As first time homebuyers I think it's important to understand the process every strep of the way.

My wife and I have been looking at houses. Sure, the houses themselves are expensive but we knew that already. What we weren't ready for was the cost of everything else. Between escrow and title fees we were looking at an additional $3,000, minimum, on top of the down payment! All together, it was something like $11k out of pocket with a bank or even a credit union! The staff and volunteers at NACA are very friendly and helpful in our quest for homeownership. If you are looking to buy a home getting a mortgage through NACA is truly the best way to get a fair deal. Lowest possible interest rates and 0 PMI cost was the biggest draw for me, and they help you navigate the home purchase process to help you find the best deal for your budget.
