The Eastern Myofascial Release Treatment Center “The Sanctuary” in Malvern, Pennsylvania is a WORLD CLASS THERAPY PRACTICE, as is the Western Myofascial Release Treatment Center, “Therapy on the Rocks” in Sedona, Arizona! My family and I have been treated at both centers. Both provide treatment by highly trained professionals who have specialized in the John F. Barnes Approach to Myofascial Release Therapy. I especially recall having participated in a one week treatment program to address scar tissue in my right lung post ra... read more
After my intensive one week treatment here, I was pain free after 22 years of hip/pelvic imbalance. I can hike and walk with much greater mobility strength and balance. I am amazed at the results and can only thank the staff a million times for it. They are the utmost in professionalism and empathy. So glad you are there!!!
My wife had a three day courser with Myofascia Release Seminar and had to leave the location one hour before the end of the seminar due to a family emergency. They were not understanding and didn't give her an option to complete. MFR wants her to take the seminar again and pay the $695 again. She was planning to take more MFR courses, however she doesn't recommend this company anymore. Stay away from them.
The staff at the Sanctuary in Malvern, PA is exceptional. John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach is very gentle, not like other forms of myofascial release (MFR). I had 3 treatments there and my monthly hormonal headaches are now gone. I used to get headaches at the base of my skull. With MFR I am happy to say that 3 years later I have not had those headaches return, in fact, I have not had a headache at all. I think this is the best holistic therapy there is! You get your physical therapist all to yourself! I love the ... read more
The therapists and MFR were very good but the business is NOT upfront about the cost. One must pay out of pocket. Had 3 therapists treat me (one hour each) on my initial day there. The papers I had signed said a session is $140. No one told me that a session is 30 minutes and it is not posted anywhere in the office or on the website. Therefore each therapist was $280 and at the end of the day I was presented with a bill for $980! Deceptive practices!
