I contacted Myers and Associates for personal tax preparation. IMO, the receptionist I spoke too seemed to imply they were accepting new clients, which is why she took down my information. When I spoke to Fred, I got the impression unless I was a business tax return, he was not accepting any new clients. He proceeded to tell me he could not recommend anyone and that no-one is accepting new clients at this point, which is entirely not true. I had to stop using Myers & Associates after they made a series of errors on my business and personal tax returns. First they submitted my business taxes under the wrong classification (LLC instead of S-corp). Then, an error they made on my personal taxes left me with a bill in the thousands. When I brought the error to Fred's attention, he dragged his feet for months causing the tax bill to incur additional penalties and interest.
