I remember the mechanic getting upset when I walked away after I was quoted $400 for a very minor repair. He got upset that i told him my car service was cheaper than having my bike looked at. He then proceeded to tell me that its not a teenager working on my bike, its a qualified bike mechanic.....I laughed even more and walked off. Moral of the story....a bike service shouldnt cost more than a car service, especially when a car mechani undergoes a 4 yr apprenticehip.
Bob looked after my husband and I when we bought new gravel bikes. He gave us practical advice and took time to find us suitable bikes in our price range. He has a really great manner with people and is very knowledgeable. Big thanks to Bob and the team at cycle co-op !
Positive experience getting a bicycle serviced here , explained what was required and at a reasonable cost.
