Went for a dry needling session, which in itself wasn't the problem. But getting cellulitis (a potentially serious skin infection) was. Clearly, it was due to the treatment I had received the previous day. I luckily already worked in healthcare and was able to get it assessed and treated promptly with antibiotics. I contacted the physio voicing my concerns, and I cancelled any further appointments.
Karthik at Capalaba My Physio is one of the best physiotherapists in the field. He is knowledgeable, and his attention to detail is outstanding. He was able to assist me with dry needling, while other physiotherapists said there was nothing they could do about my issue. I highly recommend him to anyone who is experiencing muscle-related pain. I originally was told by a foot specialist that all I would need would be a cortisone shot. Got that done that didn’t work. So I came and seen my physio. And he was able to pin point what the issue was. A few months of ultra sounds and foot exercises and I was good to go
