I decided to get back into cycling after a long hiatus. Trying to keep it local, I stopped by MustAsheville on the way home one day. Jeff introduced himself and I told him what I was looking for. I got a bike from MustAsheville Bikes and had an awesome experience. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. I returned recently for some help finishing up changing my bike tire. He fixed it in less than 5 minutes! Great service and selection!
When you walk in the door at 5:58 and the place closes at 6:00, one can expect service staff to be less than enthusiastic. But this was not the case for me: Jeff handled my need for a very last minute mountain bike rental with patience, professionalism and thoroughness. He sized a bike for me, adjusted the fit, and took the time to give it a thorough check and pre-ride servicing. My wife and I were in the market for new bikes. We stopped in to see a few possible choices and Jeff was most helpful. They even put together a few bikes for us to try to ensure we got the sizing correct. We ended up with 2 Marin bikes. We took them on their first ride and unfortunately got a flat tire. Took it back to Jeff the next day and he repaired the tire on the spot and for no extra charge. We very much appreciate the extra attention to getting everything just right. Thanks guys!
