I highly recommend taking lessons from this company, they genuinely care about your progression and teach you meaningful coursework tailored to what YOU want to achieve. Greg and AJ have been my guitar instructors and they have brought me from absolute beginner to playing my favorite songs and writing my own music! I’m so glad I chose to bring my daughter here for bass guitar lessons. She took lessons with Greg (the owner) and he was so good about keeping it fun and interesting for her. He always worked with songs that she liked. He had her bring a playlist of songs they could learn together while also teaching fundamentals. He asked every week what she was struggling with so the lesson could focus on her needs and his main goal remained to have her not “need” lessons anymore. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Music Lessons 1on1! We were previously at another studio in town and felt like they were just teaching our son to mimic and memorize instead of actually teaching him music skills to grow on. He takes drums with Mr. Brennan, who is amazing! Jack has grown so much musically and has also learned practical drum skills (changing a drum head, etc.) that will serve him well as he continues with music. We have had an incredible experience with Rob White at Music Lessons 1on1. He has worked with our son for over a year, and we can truly hear the difference in his voice. My 5 yr old son has been taking piano lessons from Mr. John for about 6 months and it has been a wonderful experience! John built rapport with us very quickly, keeps a great pace during each lesson, and holds consistent boundaries in a very kind and caring manner.
