Cheryl Goodman was the worst attorney ever! She came into the courtroom unprepared. The judge had to correct her for not being prepared. He scolded her for her error. He(the judge) ordered her to come back when she got her paperwork in order. She left the courtroom and came back 20 minutes later. I definitely will never use her again (hopefully never) and would NEVER recommend to anyone. Also she was dressed very unprofessional.
My lawyer ( Cheryl) gave me incorrect information about when and where to pay $1,500 to resolve my issue. She blamed me for not knowing the details she never provided and implied I had unlimited time to make payments. I assumed I could pay during tax season, but she never mentioned a court date or deadline. Just before Christmas, she called and blamed me for not informing her about my situation, including being homeless after a hurricane. She suddenly told me I had a court date in two weeks. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!!! They will take your money and then keep asking for more and more. You do NOT receive an itemized bill so that they can overcharge you as much as they would like. They will drop your case when you can not keep paying their outrageous amounts and keep the money you have given them even if they have not done anything for it. Called hoping for advice on a situation I was recently involved in and because I was not charged and arrested, he refused to speak to me and hung up on me. Very rude people for absolutely no reason.
