Absolutely horrible experience in the emergency room. The nurses were talking bad about every single person that came in, people were asking for help from their rooms only to be laughed at by the staff
I went to MUSC as a potential living kidney donor. When someone is the donor, their insurance is not billed, the potential recipients insurance is billed. The MUSC donor advocate stated to me many many times that my insurance was not to be billed. Every stop in the testing process i was told that the recipients insurance would be billed. Guess what MUSC did? That's right, they billed my insurance, meaning that i am responsible for the copays and deductibles. Been in the emergency room for 6 hours. Where another hospital scheduled and supposedly had doctors on standby. Then people that got here after us started going in before us. My mom has 3rd degree burns and they don’t even care.
