This was a breeze. We recommend Murphy Bed Depot to everyone. Also, our installer was very nice and efficient. Everything looked great when we were done . My pictures don’t do it justice. Lighting not great.
IN SUMMARY: Murphy Bed Depot (MBD) referred me to an unlicensed (unbeknownst to me) installer who ruined my bed, and MBD won’t refund me the cost for my damaged murphy bed. IN SOME DETAIL: After using the unlicensed installer Murphy Bed Depot referred me to, my $4,142 custom Murphy bed purchase has increased substantially in cost, time & stress and been depleted in usability, safety & value. The bed is nice. But, I have to be honest - this is particle board with a formica-type cover. NOT worth $3000. When I arrived, we put it all out on the floor and my husband and I said, "We paid over $3000 for this??". Not very many pieces of particle board - so the money must be in the hardware. Every time I called MurphyBedDepot - it seemed like I was inconveniencing them. I even complained to 2 of the ladies that they neither one seemed to be happy about taking the call. I just had my 6th Murphy Bed installed for a client and have to brag on Murphy Bed Depot. From the moment I call them to make an appointment for a showroom visit through final inspection of product, post-install, they provide a seamless, streamlined experience for both myself as the designer and my clients.
