I live long distance. I called the facility for days trying to speak to my relative. But, the staff at the fourth floor nurse’s station NEVER pick up the phone. Yet, staff had time to complain to my family saying I was calling too much and “over concerned.” I walked into the room one morning to see orange juice spilled all over the table, floor and blankets. This was the second place I moved my mom. It was tough for her, leaving here home. She hasnt been pleasant to be around, especially if you happen to be a nurse. I have the private numbers of an administrator and her head nurse. They call with updates since I live out of state. They are working hard at getting her pain under control. They care. I decided to take my mom here after being released from the hospital. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! I was told that she would be given a shower often. NOT at all and she was there for almost a month. I was told that there was a 1 nurse/2 aid per 15 patient ratio NOT! There were times that she didn't see a nurse until night meds. I had to clean her room and even bring a garbage bag from home because a janitor was not there on the weekend and the aid didn't know where they were kept. Mind you I had to empty the garage myself. JILL, ERICA AND MARY ANNE ARE GREAT PHYSICAL THERAPIST! PENNY AND TANYA ARE THE BEST CNA'S. THEY GET ME EVERYTHING I NEED.
