It’s such a gentle, light touch technique. It’s one of the few therapy approaches that acknowledges that emotions can be accessed in the body, or that there is an energy system in the body. I brought my son to see Heather after he suffered a concussion that was effecting him physically as well as his emotional well-being. Heather was able to not only treat his head and his entire body, but also focus on a 2 year old back injury that we were told was medically healed, but had left him with decreased mobility. I saw an improvement in his demeanor after only 1 visit. After feeling frustrated and helpless, we were very grateful to have found Heather. Highly recommend.

We went to Mulcahey OT at a time we were desperate. Raising a child with Sensory Processing and Anxiety issues can be difficult. We were amazed each day we went to OT. Each week was a new revelation about our child. First our child was sleeping better, then eating better and finally self-regulating her emotions. We feel like Ms. Heather gave us our family back. Heather has been working with my 7 year old son for about six months now. My husband and I cannot even begin to describe the positive changes we have seen in him. Heather is amazing at what she does. I went to see Heather to boost my immune function and overall health and she worked on my lymph system. It was really cool when she released my neck lymph nodes: my neck pain was immediately much better (I had this neck pain for quite some time). It made me think about how the different systems in the body affect one another. One thing I really liked was that she includes a lot of training in self-care, like mindfulness meditation, and even hands-on self-healing “homework”.
