I visited with my neighbor yesterday, the downtown Milton store, and the conversation with the store owner went downhill very quickly. She stated she is sickened by all the new construction in Lewes! Not a very diplomatic thing to say to people who recently retired here. We left the store promptly, and were quite offended. We will spend our money somewhere else!
I love this local, warm, cozy place on the otherwise sterile Route One corridor between Lewes and Midway. The seamstress was friendly on the phone and very helpful as I was making my selection of products. My order was professionally done and finished in two days! This is so much better than using the Internet or the outlet malls for personal, unique items!
As locals to this area, a co-worker and I looked to Mugs and Stitches to complete a small embroidery order that we had. I had always heard good things about the company, and they had been in the area for a while, so I THOUGHT that they would be a reliable option. Boy, was I wrong... Over the years, Mugs and Stiches has moved to several different locations in the Cape Henlopen region.
