I took my 2016 Ford Explorer to Muffler Man in Holly last fall after the dealership in another town said I needed new rear brakes - they had changed my oil and rotated tires. Their quote was ~$500. Thinking this was quite expensive, I went to Muffler Man for their price which was 40% less. I dropped my car off and waited for their call. Much to my surprise, Muffler Man called and said I did not need brakes! The technician said he could not, in all good conscious, replace the brakes that were not bad. Fast forward six months, I took my vehicle back to the dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. And after >5,000 more miles, they said I did not need brakes! So, I will trust Muffler Man for an honest appraisal of need for service and I will hire them. Thank you Muffler Man.
