Mud Lake Studios is a true gem in Bend. The moment you walk in, you can feel the energy of the space—warm, welcoming, and quietly buzzing with creativity. It’s not just a pottery studio, it’s a community hub where artists of all levels come together to share ideas, support each other, and create beautiful work. I’ve really enjoyed my time here.
Mud Lakes is such a beautiful studio space to create works of art. I was only a member for a short while, but the process of becoming a member was awesome. Alicia responds quickly to any questions, the price of membership is fair ($135/mo.) for small shelf with 24/7 studio access, and all the members I met were engaging, friendly, and super helpful. 10/10 best ceramic studio in Bend. There is a wait-list, but I was only waiting a few months before I secured a spot. It's worth the wait!
I recently took a beginner wheel pottery class here with Reuben—it was wonderful!! I learned a ton in the 5 weeks and was even able to produce some pottery I felt pretty proud of. Reuben was so patient and chill and a fantastic instructor. I love the whole vibe of the space too. I would definitely come back for another class. Highly recommended for beginners and experienced potters alike.
I was a member of the studio for over a year and really loved the community, the space, and the vibe. It’s very laid back but has a lot of intention in it. Although I had to leave due to life circumstances and time constraints I hope to rejoin the pod someday!
I first visited Mud Lake Studios in 2022 as a customer and loved the aesthetic, buzzing community, work zones, and gallery to showcase the artists work. Fast forward to 2024, I recently moved to Bend and joined Mud Lake Studios as a new member and have been loving my time in this very special and creative space.
