My wife and I recently took a one day (few hours) wheel throwing class here and had an amazing time! We’re so glad we did it! There were only 6 students and the instructor, Liv, was super engaging, attentive, and helpful. It was the perfect balance of instruction, help, and just focusing and doing your thing independently. Moving to Bend, I circled back to pottery and immediately knew Mudlakes was where I needed to be! The community of talented ceramicists has been a highlight of working in the studio. Members are supportive and collaborative and many of the employees are also members. My dad and I took the hand-building class with Titia. We had a great time spending our Wednesday nights building lots of different pieces. Everyone in the class made something creative, unique, and different. We ended up with a really fun collection of artwork, including pinch pots, coil-built pots, balloon-formed sculptures, and more. This was my dad's first experience with ceramics and Titia gave him lots of guidance and feedback to help him out.
