I won a personalized mug from Mud & Prints from Appleton’s Small Business Saturday passport. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience! I anticipated that I would be able to simply pick a mug from the store, but instead Linda worked with me to completely design a mug from scratch. Together she helped me pick the shape, handle (left or right handed), glaze color, and what I’d like as a design on the mug (I chose lilacs). A bit disappointing. Hoping for more print and paint rather than predominantly ceramics. Small place to view, took less than 5 minutes.

Absolutely awful experience. The lady at the register was rude and disrespectful. If there are rules and things that MUST be followed then there should be signs. To be yelled at, accused, and humiliated for appreciating art is ridiculous. Act like this to all your customers and you'll be out of business real fast. It was disgusting.

I finally ventured into this lovely studio/shop a few weeks ago. I always assumed it was for artists (I have no artistic ability), but it is also a charming shop! They make beautiful (and functional) pieces. After buying a few random mugs on our last visit, today we stopped with the goal of buying a matching set of 4. They only had two available of the design I wanted, but they offered to make 2 more to complete my set. And they do custom mugs as well - quite a hidden gem!
