The price is worst do not waste your time go here there now worst customer service and worst customer care they will lie say they waited for your Insurance to send the Lens They will lie and make me pay $50 for the lens and lie to u say it take 3 to 4 weeks I put my glasses in April 15 and when I call I get different excuses for it do not go here go somewhere else who have good customer service care this place have my glasses sit in cabinet for 4 week going in 5 weeks
Long time resident of MV here. As a young man my family always went to county optical. After they closed we transitioned over to Mount Vernon eye care about 15 years ago and I and any family members still in ny…even the ones that moved out of MV have never looked back. All agree we feel at home here like family. We are always greeted by name, staff seems to have everything laid out for us when we visit. It was good at one point but front desk staff have brought it down majorly over the years. Slow service, incompetent, mixing up records & insurances, and long hold times when calling. This was my annual eye doctor for years but I won’t be returning. I booked an appointment for a problem with my eye & then rescheduled, re explaining the issue a 2nd time when rescheduling. Was recommended to go here after several horrible experiences elsewhere. From wrong script to bad service u name it I dealt with it all. I had an issue with mine insurance for the kids. Can’t play with the kids health. No other place could figure out what to do but tell me it’s my insurance I gotta fix it. Well this place done treated me like they know me forever w respect and like I was spending so hard cash.
