A great place to cross-country ski. They have rental equipment if you need it. There is a special price on Tuesdays. $10/person. Restrooms in the lodge.
My wife and I took our vacation up in Lake Placid. We visited this site not knowing what to expect. They offered cross-country skiing and rentals as well as snowshoeing. The staff helped us decide which would be best for us as we are a little older. We decided on the snowshoes and had a blast! There are many trails to go off the main cross country skiing trails for snowshoers which made it a lot of fun..
