Great experience! We took a guided cross country ski tour. The rental included the equipment. It was snowing quite a bit on us, so next time I would add some googles, but everyone wore sunglasses, which was also fine for visibility. Scott was very knowledgeable and shared lots of insight on the technique and safety of the sport. He led us down a trail that was short enough to become familiar with the activity but long enough to experience different aspects and how to navigate the terrain changes.
