It wut fun
I think it is wonderful and that I would recommend it to everyone. There is one thing that is always sad. It's leaving the camp.
We really love the staff and volunteers at this camp so this review is hard to leave. But it’s not about the grounds or the staff or the effort of these wonderful people. But my daughter stayed one week and was bullied terribly. She was also extremely uncomfortable being bunked with girls that were talking about being lesbians, sex and other things. My daughters have been attending Mt. Gilead Camp for four years now. This is the highlight of their summers! They love archery, horsemanship, pottery, nature walks, s'mores and worship by the campfire, pool time, and having fun at the pond. They invite and bring a new friend to Mt. Gilead every summer! The counselors are wonderful and keep in touch with the girls even throughout the year. Our family has been blessed with a scholarship every summer and we couldn't be more grateful.
