This facility has gone downhill since Opal took over. We wanted to give the new management a fair chance, but nearly a year later the decline has been impossible to ignore. Everything feels like it has been stripped back. There are fewer care staff, fewer cleaners, fewer catering staff and fewer lifestyle staff. Residents are the ones paying the price. Absolutely amazing staff and gorgeous facility. But incompetent management and the Opal way isn’t the way we should be looking after our elders which lack or respect and care …. Disgraceful.
With the new takeover of Opal you would assume that things would get better but they’re not. Residents are not eating their meals in fact opting for sandwiches with premium prices as the meals are worse in Frankston Hospital in the outpatient. You complain but nothing‘s been done about it.
