Rude and Unprofessional!!!! I have banked with M&T for over 25+ years and tried to open up a business account and was told No one was available to help me in Clarksville, MD location. I guess my money can go to a different bank with better customer service. The manager of the bank could not even look up from her desk to say may I help you in another way. Hey people, you’re running a business, and people have options.
Over the last year or so I have increasingly found I am unable to complete basic banking needs at this location, such as depositing checks using their ATMs. The issues frequently involve their ATMs-which don’t recognize checks, or are out of service, but also the tellers, who also seem to struggle with technology. M&T is a good bank, but this location is not a place to bank at.
Unprofessional, untrained staff. RUDE staff,No customer service.Planning to open CD , before that we got worst experience so we have decided not to open and face rude behavior of the bank employees. Clarksville branch is the Worst branch . They are not even one star but there is no option to give for ZERO star. With this negative attitude, it is hard to survive and stay in financial business.
I normally don’t do the “ race “ thing but imma call a spade a spade when i see it. I was EMBARRASSED & humiliated!! I was treated like criminal!! Like i had did something wrong !! But I just wanted to withdraw MY MONEY THAT I WORK HARD FOR!! I wasn’t depositing a check i wasnt trying to get one cleared NOTHING just withdrawing money i BEEN had in my account! After banking with M&T for over 20 years (starting with the bank they took over) I did something I rarely do - went into a branch. There were 5 people working (mostly staring at computer screens) and ONLY 1 TELLER. He was trying to train a new employee and run between the drive up window and the the walk-up counter. Of course he was stretched thin so I waited in line. Finally made it to the counter (with people waiting behind me). I needed for them to draft a check for me to a contractor.
