On my way back from work, I stop at this location to deposit a check from my insurance payment. It takes almost 30min to just accept the deposit. The whole branch (4 people) were huddling to inspect the $2500 check. I had work with m&t for 6 years before and I know the bank procedures. I have direct deposit in my account and I hold this account for more than 15years. Why why why? Olney Branch is ok but overall bank service is very poor. Can't get questions answered. Hard to get them on the phone. I have been a business customer for 20 years..Things have gotten worst. I am going to move my accounts.
Avoid this Olney branch if you can, it has the worst possible customer service. We are a loyal m&t customers, I came to get help to open a new account there's a banker named Aziz who made us wait for 15 minutes he said he will help us open one and after the wait just came in and said he cannot help us and that we schedule an appointment. This is on a day when they are not busy! It's ridiculous! They are slow, incompetent and rude.
