Very slow service
I would like to thank wonderful ladies at Wilkens plaza branch for assisting my wife Margaret Honeywell for her banking needs since 2000. Mrs. Cheryl helped us with taking care of CD account that reached maturity while we were away in Europe. Mrs. Jessica was assisting us with choosing the option to get cashiers check when making big purchase. Let me mention also Mrs. Dawn - always with a smile. I am furious. I just discovered at the check-out that my account with M&T is locked. I have banked with them almost 15 years and hold a few accounts with them. Apparently, they locked my entire account because I deposited a large check last week. Not a huge amount. I can live with waiting for the check to clear, but what does that have to do with the rest of hard-earned money??? ALL of my funds are locked and without any type of notice! I'm handicap and unable to get out of my car I went through the drive through this morning and ATM wasn't accepting cards I saw a bank teller through the glass and told him 2 times to please check the machine.He ignored me completely. I drove home. Since this man works for the bank he needs to work on customer service. Just so u know it's against the law for refusal to help any handicap person.Federsl and State to law Robin Virts
