Worst bank I've ever been with. Won't accept my debit card or a picture of my ID to let me get my rent and sewer bill out. My debit card stopped working in the first two months of owning it and they wouldn't do anything about it when I walked into the branch. Late fees on my rent and sewer bill and a 25 dollars to pay for expedited shipping for a new card since the branch is useless. Very disappointing experience. I visited to close my account due to low usage. The banker assisting me—who was a temporary staff member—explicitly assured me the early termination fee would be waived. However, I was later charged a $50 fee without any notice. I only discovered the charge when I requested a statement. Had I known there would be a fee, I wouldn’t have closed the account. This was clearly their error, yet I’m left bearing the cost. Very frustrating and unprofessional.
I am here for an appointment with the branch manager to sign for a loan I was approved for. It's for my mother's funeral TOMORROW. I received multiple messages confirming my appointment today. I arrive and she's not here. Never canceled..there is no one here that can get me set up. She left for the day. If she would have canceled..I might have been able to go to another branch. Do not deal with this bank. This is a nightmare. The branch manager is irresponsible. That's a bad sign.
Inside the bank there's no problems but when it comes to the ATM.... 7 times out of 10 it's down. Don't rely on this one go to the one that's under the bridge in Newport.
